Travelling to Kentucky for a Solar Car Race
They say a picture is worth a thousand words — I hope that's the case, because that's most of what I have to show for the 2025 IEF Electrek Formula Sun Grand Prix.
In future, I hope to expand this post — sharing how I ran race simulation/prediction models, fixed faulty hydraulic brakes, and spent a consecutive 41 hours awake to swap out a faulty motor for one with different geometry. In the interim, I can at least direct you to a teamate's reflection that covers all sorts of difficulties we faced (along with the fun we had).
